At Jen Kim Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, we never “always recommend” procedures or services to our patients. Instead, we base recommendations on each patient and what they want for their smiles.

While we do offer dental implants in our Kirkland, WA dental office, we also offer dental bridges, partial dentures, and complete dentures based on what you want your outcome to be and what makes the best sense for your medical and dental history.

When Dental Implants Make the Most Sense

If you have enough healthy bone to support dental implants, practice good dental hygiene habits, and if eating all of the foods you love is important to you, dental implants could be an option to consider.

For patients with certain medical conditions, or who take a prescription medication that is contraindicated with dental implant surgery or healing, a dental bridge might prove a more reasonable alternative.

Our dentist, Dr. Jen Kim will be happy to discuss alternatives with you, along with their benefits and limitations.

Why People Choose Dental Implants

Dental implants don’t happen overnight. Implant dentistry requires precise planning and surgical placement.

We work closely with some of the finest oral surgeons and periodontists in the area to ensure the highest level of success with dental implant procedures. At our Kirkland, WA dental office, we use highly qualified local labs to create custom dental implant crowns that look and feel completely natural.

The entire process can take up to 3-6 months, yet many of our patients believe that it’s worth the wait because of the following benefits:

  • Dental implants preserve bone structure
  • You can enjoy an unrestricted diet
  • Your dental implants will function like natural teeth
  • Dental implants require the same care as teeth
  • Your dental implant has the potential to last a lifetime
