We Bill On Your Behalf
At Jen Kim Dentistry, we are happy to bill your dental insurance on your behalf. We accept most major dental insurance plans, including Premera, Delta Dental, WDS, Regence, and Metlife, among others. Please contact your insurance company to find out if Jen Kim: Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is a preferred provider on your plan. If you need assistance with this, please contact our office at (425) 284-4450. We are happy to provide assistance in finding what benefits your insurance plan provides.
However, please be advised that your insurance plan is a contract between you, the insurance company, and your employer (if provided through your work). As such, what procedures are covered or not covered by your insurance has been determined by that contract, and we are not responsible for what is or is not covered.
Insurance is Not Required for Treatment
While we gladly bill insurance companies on behalf of our patients with insurance, you do not have to have dental insurance to be a patient at Jen Kim: Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. We are happy to work with you individually to make sure that you receive the dental care you deserve, even without dental insurance. We accept payment in various methods, including Visa and Mastercard. We are also excited to offer financing through CareCredit for larger treatment needs. Please contact our office at (425) 284-4450 to see what options are available to you.
See the Underlying Issues
Although we do a very thorough examination of your teeth and surrounding tissue, we are unable to see some areas without the use of dental x-rays. In order to correctly diagnose the conditions of these areas, Dr. Kim may prescribe that x-rays be taken. At Jen Kim dentistry, we understand your concerns regarding radiation. To minimize that, we use digital x-rays, which greatly reduces your exposure to radiation.
Pain May Not Be An Indicator of Issues
For many dental problems, pain may be the last symptom that occurs. This means that by the time you experience discomfort, the situation may be much more difficult and costly to fix or be even beyond repair. Dental x-rays and visual examinations allow us to see problems when they are first beginning. Treating the problem now, when it's small, will save you money and time and help you to avoid discomfort and pain.
At Jen Kim Dentistry, we are happy to discuss your dental concerns with you. Digital x-ray technology gives us the opportunity to review your x-rays with you and zoom in to pinpoint any problems that we find. By practicing preventive dental care, we can use conservative care approaches more often to give you a better overall experience.
Keep A Good Routine At Home
Good oral hygiene starts at home, accompanied by regular exams and professional cleanings at Jen Kim: Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth at least twice daily, ideally in the morning and again at bedtime.
Flossing daily is also important as your toothbrush will not be able to reach in between your teeth, under a bridge, or behind the last tooth.
